Friends of School (FOS)
We are a very friendly, active and supportive group of parents, staff, friends and other family members who organise numerous events - social, fundraising and educational - during the school year, including the Christmas Bazaar and the Summer Fete.
Our main aim is to raise much needed funds for our school and we try to do this by organising family orientated events so that everyone can join in and have fun as well!
Current committee members:
- Jennie Maggs (Chair)
- Marie Huskisson (Secretary)
- Mike Ponter (Treasurer)
Meetings are regularly held each term to discuss and plan future events. We also discuss with the school leadership team how best to spend the money raised.
We regularly raise in the region of £9,000 annually, but to do this we REALLY DO NEED parental involvement. Please don't step back and think 'someone else will do it', we actually need YOU. More details on how to get involved and enjoy the events put on can be found on the FOS display board, our regular newsletter and school issued emails.

In previous years we have been proud to donate £8000 towards the school PlayPod, which the children enjoy enormously every lunch hour, as well as the purchase of curriculum resources, including Interactive Boards in classrooms, and Learnpads, a set of tablets for each Key Stage, which enhance children's learning.
